husband, radiologist and photographer Hubert Kottlove, split time between homes in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. She
has three children, all involved in some form of the arts, and three grandchildren. In addition to the SILVER
SISTERS MYSTERIES series she writes with Phyllice, Morgan has written several published short stories in anthologies, writes
two columns for Examiner.com in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and edits the Sisters in Crime Southern Nevada newsletter.
.
In
2010, writing as Arliss Adams she debuted a set of two romantic/suspense novels that have been in work for many years, as well as a short story. Devil's Dance and The Devil's Due, unlike the funny Silver Sisters Mysteries, follow the life of Jen Connor, a young ballerina with a brilliant future ahead
of her, from the time she is kidnapped as a teenager, beaten and left for dead through her struggle to regain her life.
She finally rises to a position of respect in the theater, but is left with a thirst for retribution. .
Morgan is active in many writers groups in Los
Angeles and Las Vegas and frequently is a featured speaker, workshop presenter, and panel member or moderator. Click here for her menu of workshops and talks. .
Before pursuing her writing career,
Morgan spent many years as an interior designer, working with product designs, model homes, showroom design and celebrities.
.
Her
work appeared in numerous magazines, and her first published article was in Designer's West Magazine. She also served
as Director of Design for two residential developers and worked with fast-food restaurant design in the eleven western states.
Well travelled, Morgan aptly fits the description of "road warrior".
